According to the results of national research published in YahooFinance, 15% of Americans would like to make bets on Super Bowl but only in the case it was permitted by the state law.
“We can trust this information. We have been carrying out this survey for several years, after the Super Bowl and after the NCAA final match. Results are similar”, – these comments were made by Rick Gentile, Head of the Sport Surveys’ Department in SetonHall.
At the moment sport bets are illegal in the USA, except three states.
According to the data of American Gambling Association (AGA), Americans made bets on Super Bowl 2017 for 4,7 milliard dollars. And only 3% of this sum (138?5 million dollars) was received from legal bets. However, it was a record amount of legal bets on Super Bowl.
