Scotland will launch a new project aimed to the fight against compulsive gambling among young population. It was declared by the local Department of British Bookmaker Association.
The project will be financed by the Association together with the Charity Foundation of RCA. It is expected that, in frameworks of the project, about 2, 5 thousand of Scottish people will receive consultation and support in the fight against compulsive gambling.
SBC informs that schools of the biggest Scottish cities will be offered to take part in the project. Among them there are schools of Rutherglen, Renfrewshire and Glasgow.
Initiators of the project are sure that the project will support a great amount of young people suffering from compulsive gambling. Youngsters will be able to receive consultation services and to solve the problems caused by their addiction. We must mention that many countries are strengthening measures aimed to the fight against compulsive gambling.
