After beating Odd Grenland 2-0 on Thursday, Brann are on a good run of four games unbeaten in all competitions, including a fantastic attacking performance in their dramatic 5-3 win over Sarpsborg away on Monday. Diego Guastavino was the star of the show when Brann inflicted only Sarpsborg’s second loss of Tippeligaen 2011 – he scored with an unstoppable long range effort and set up three of the other goals, involving himself in every attacking move with flair and imagination. With the likes of Guastavino, striker Kim Ojo and winger Bentley (who scored his first league goal for the club against Odd Grenland on Thursday) in the line-up, Brann remain one of the finest goal scoring sides in the division. They are on a four match unbeaten streak at home, and look considerably more comfortable in front of their own fans than earlier this season. The key to their home form has been how much better they have seemed defensively (they have let in just seven goals at home all season out of 22 in total) – and if they can keep tight at the back, the threat from their talented forwards could prove decisive against any team in the league.
3:1 for the home team.
