The first semifinal from the League Cup will place together Pandurii Târgu Jiu and Dinamo Bucharest. That match will be held tonight on the stadium ”Tudor Vladimirescu”. The two teams have already met in this current League edition, when Dinamo won on ”Ștefan cel Mare” with the score of 3-2.

The team from Bucharest was defeated in the winter by teams such as Bursaspor, Aue, Guangzhou, Danemarca U21, Lokomotiv Moscova, Legia Varșovia or Atletico PR. They do want to win the League Cup, despite the fact that they received small odds. They now have a new manager, Mihai Teja. The “red dogs” made a few changes to the team, bringing Grozav, Grigore, Cristescu, Machado, Serginho, Lucian Goian or Marius Niculae. Likewise, Samoilă, Cordoș, Grecu, Firțulescu and Miranda left the team. It will be interesting to see what sort of game will Mihai Teja adopt, because in the first leg, they had a pretty opened one.

Cosmin Matei is the only player from the lot who has a few medical problems. Overall, the manager will be able to count on everybody and he declared that he will send on the pitch the best team he has. It is expected for Mihai Teja to send on the pitch many players that came during the winter.
