Asian Confeedration of Football (AFC) disqualified for life 22 playres because of their participation in match-fixing.

It was also mentioned that disqualification is valid at the competitions organized by AFC, but FIFA may expand the sanctions up to the international level.
15 players from 22 were playing or are still playing for Laos club “Lao Toyota”. According to the investigation, match-fixing has been flourishing since 2014. Nowadays cases of match-fixing are still happening in the local championships of Laos and Cambodia.
