Under the terms of its membership, Bet on Alfa will be able to both utilise the IBIA’s global monitoring and alert platform, as well as feed data into the platform in order to strengthen betting integrity.

The Cypriot-based operator has become the fourth new member of the integrity body since its rebranding from ESSA in June of this year. The duo will work alongside one another to monitor betting activity, in a bid to crackdown on betting-related corruption.
Bet on Alfa will be represented in ‘high-level policy discussions’ by the IBIA while also gaining access to its monitoring and alert platform – an anti-corruption tool that detects and reports suspicious activity on its members’ betting markets.
Khalid Ali, Secretary General of the International Betting Integrity Association, added: “Bet on Alfa is a leading operator in Cyprus and a very welcome addition to the association. Our alert platform benefits greatly from regional experts such as Bet on Alfa and its mix of retail and online operations provides additional value.
“I am delighted at the association’s continuing growth and the recognition of responsible companies like Bet on Alfa of the importance of working with other operators collectively to defend regulated betting markets from corruption.”
The deal continues the association’s membership growth, which now includes around 50 online and retail brands.
The association has longstanding information-sharing partnerships with sports and gambling regulators to utilise its data and prosecute corruption, representing the sector at high-level policy discussion forums such as the IOC, United Nations, Council of Europe and European Commission.
