Bookmaker SkyBet blocked account of the client who made an inquiry for the bet in Twitter. As a result of this inquiry, the company lost almost 440 thousand dollars. It became possible because the account was registered for the lucky gambler’s father.by Joker 22.02.2017 0 comments
Remember that the gambler Max Reid inquired the bet on the match between “Bayern” and “Arsenal” in 1/8 of the final of the Champions League. The user decided to bet on two events. He betted that forward of the “Bayern” Robert Levandovsky would score with his head and “Arsenal” wouldn’t score from the penalty spot.
Odds on this market was 401,0. Reid betted 6,2 dollars and won 2,48 thousand dollars. However, bookmaker announced that many other gamblers followed Reid’s example, and, after the bet had been made, the company lost 440 thousand dollars.
Nevertheless, afterwards SkyBet blocked the lucky gambler’s account, and Reid announced it to the Twitter. Reid addressed to the company, and the administration told him to solve his problem in the technical service center. The reason turned out to be quite banal – the account was opened for the name of Reid’s father, and the client admitted it.
“It is my father’s account, and it contains two bets (one of them is mine), that’s why you don’t pay me my prize money for the inquired bet”,- Reid wrote.
