Representatives of gambling business, police and Malt Football Association (MFA) asked the government to revise the legislation about integrity of national types of sport, Sbcnews informs.
In their opinion, “existing legislation is not sustainable any more”. Sportive anti-corruption target group, including Malta Football Association, police representatives, the Attorney General and Malta Gambling Association, presented their bill to the government.
The target group wants to harden the punishment for crimes connected with match-fixing.
