In the near future, the Parliament of Kenya will study a new bill aimed to the reinforcement of the control over gambling in the country. According to the information of local Mass Media, the bill is elaborated by the government of Kenya.
It is expected that, with the adoption of this bill, the government will considerably increase fines for gambling operators that provide services of sport betting and on-line gambling for people under 18 years old.
This crime will be punished, and gambling operators will have to pay a fine of 4800 dollars.
Also local betting operators are not allowed to use gambling equipment that hasn’t been licensed by the gambling regulator of Kenya.
These changes will work after the voting about this bill during one of the nearest meetings of the government.
